A local fall favorite in Caldwell County is getting a statewide stamp of approval for its quality and homegrown service.

Cayce’s Pumpkin Patch has been officially accepted into the 2026 Kentucky Farm Bureau Certified Farm Market Program. The designation is part of a 31-year-old initiative aimed at connecting consumers directly with farm families.

In a written statement, Kentucky Farm Bureau President Eddie Melton says the “certification gives these markets the recognition they deserve, and it gives consumers a trusted signal that what they’re buying was grown with care right here in Kentucky.”

Located on Farmersville Road in Princeton, Cayce’s offers more than just produce. The agritourism destination features a corn maze, a petting zoo, and “dinosaur” hayride tours. While their full fall experience opens in mid-September, the farm offers spring and summer produce on an honor-system basis starting in May.

As a certified market, Cayce’s will now be featured in the state’s official directory and mobile app, helping to draw more visitors to the Princeton area.

Cayce’s Pumpkin Patch was recognized as a Kentucky Farm Bureau Certified Farm Market Program for both 2024 and 2025.
