Caldwell County Public Schools is continuing its efforts to support local families, as the Summer Feeding Program is set to kick off again next month. Last year, the school district stepped in to run the program, a role that had previously been handled by The King’s Kitchen of Caldwell County, thanks to support from local donations.
Public Relations and Community Engagement Coordinator Lizzie Wynn says that the program will kick off in June and continue every Tuesday through the month of July.

In addition, Wynn says the Food Pantry will remain open throughout the summer.

Wynn points out that while the food pantry is based at the elementary school, it’s available to all families in the school district, with a discreet entrance to make visits more comfortable.
