A Princeton man is facing multiple charges after police responded to a call about a domestic assault in progress Thursday night.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers were sent to the 700 block of Varmintrace Road around 10:20 p.m. and made contact with 21-year-old Brandon Brown, who was hiding in a shed behind the residence.
He says the investigation revealed that a physical altercation had occurred, and Brown was found in possession of marijuana, meth, and drug paraphernalia.
Brown was arrested and charged with fourth-degree domestic assault, his third offense within 5 years, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
