Charles “Chuck” Tandy, 67, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
He was born on December 10, 1958, in Caldwell County to his late parents, Charles Tandy and Georgia Louise Tandy Oden.
Chuck Tandy served for many years as an ordained Youth Minister at Grace Baptist Church. His ministry was marked by compassion, steady leadership, and a sincere commitment to helping others grow spiritually and personally. He built a respected career in public education, teaching in both Texas and Indiana. Following retirement from teaching, Chuck transitioned into home contracting, where he applied the same dedication and strong work ethic that had defined his earlier careers. Chuck was deeply devoted to his family and found great joy in caring for animals.
He is survived by six sisters, Joan (Percy) Belt, of Hopkinsville, Nancy Hawkins, of Princeton, Lisa (Ricky) Haney of Princeton, Carla Burklow of Marion, IL, Judi (Danny) Riddle of Princeton, Cathy Beavers of Princeton, and one brother, Roger (Liz) Tandy of Florida.
In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his sister, Becky Oliver, and brother, Terry Tandy.
There will be no service held at this time.
