The Annual Black Patch Festival kicked off last Saturday with the popular Pageants being held at the local middle school gym. This year the Pageants were sponsored once again by the Caldwell County Middle School Jr. Beta Club. The school campus was filled with sharply dressed contestants and their families as they prepared to present themselves to the judges.
Chelsea Ardrey served as the chairman for the Pageants and said everything went well for the day and she was pleased with the turnout and the help she had making the day work for the Beta Club.

click to download audioThe Princeton Optimist Club invites anyone participating in the Pageants and the winners to be a part of the Black Patch Parade scheduled for Friday September 11th at 5:00 pm.
You do not have to preregister or pay any entry fees but just be on the Butler parking lot by 4:30 to line up. Anyone riding in the parade is asked to identify yourself with some type of sign telling who you are and what you represent.
