The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a boat trailer from a local campground over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Sheriff Brent White says Deputy Keith Suits responded to the theft complaint shortly before 4:30 Monday afternoon at a campground on KY 93 South. Deputy Suits’ investigation revealed a 24-foot, Haul Rite, tri-toon boat trailer that was parked in a boat trailer parking area was stolen sometime between Saturday and Monday afternoon.
