
A large crowd of friends, family, law enforcement, local and judicial leaders, and former colleagues were on hand to honor retiring Caldwell County Sheriff Stan Hudson during a retirement reception Wednesday.
Several spoke during the gathering, including Chief Deputy Chris Noel who thanked Sheriff Hudson for his leadership and dedication of service to the community.

Hudson’s last day after serving 24 years as the sheriff of Caldwell County will be Friday.
