
Fredonia Mayor Jim Seibert and Judge-Executive Kota Young were in Washington D.C. this week attending the National Association of Development Organizations Conference as part of the Pennyrile Area Development District to explore innovative strategies for advancing their local communities.
Mayor Seibert says they discussed what is being worked on locally and in our region with U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives as well as where help is needed.

click to download audioMayor Seibert also noted that the new weather siren in Fredonia is being installed in close proximity to what they call the “Subdivision” area going toward Marion and that the city should be adequately covered as it is roughly one square mile in size.
