Barbara Nell Jones Burnam, age 88, of Eddyville, KY passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton. Barbara was a member of Glenn’s Chapel Methodist Church. She loved camping and traveling and was a salesperson for Avon for fifty years.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Dennis) Galusha, Eddyville, KY; one son, David (Bobbi) Light, Poquoson, VA; three grandchildren, Dustin (Alicia) Galusha, Dana Galusha, Chris (Ari) Light, and ten great-grandchildren. .
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Newman and Grace Edna Sexton Jones; her first husband, Richard Light, her second husband, Tommy Burnam, one sister, Betty Ann Shepherd and one grandson, Aaron Light.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Steve McVay officiating. Burial will follow in Glenn’s Chapel Cemetery in Lyon County.
