At Monday night’s meeting, Princeton City Council received an update from Princeton Water & Wastewater about multiple projects they have been engaged in throughout the city.
Water & Wastewater Commission member and Councilwoman Pat George ceded her time during the committee and department reports to Superintendent James Noel, who then provided an update on the projects.
Noel reported that they completed a tank mixer project last month.
click to download audioHe noted that they began advertising for bids for an emergency generator this past Wednesday.
click to download audioHe also shared that they are extending the sewer main on Prince Street, with an estimated total cost of $350,000, supported by two grants to help fund the project.

click to download audioFurthermore, he mentioned that Princeton Water & Wastewater crews have continued their efforts on the service line project.

click to download audioFollowing his updates, George remarked that Princeton is very fortunate to have Noel as the superintendent of the Princeton Water & Wastewater Commission. Mayor Brock Thomas added that he has worked with Noel over the past few years and praised his knowledge and experience with the city’s water department, noting it has been wonderful to collaborate with him.
