Patti Jo Welch passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, in Cadiz, KY, at the age of 66. Born on July 14, 1958, in Princeton, KY, Patti’s life was a tapestry of joy, kindness, and an unwavering love for the natural world around her.
From a young age, Patti’s heart was captivated by the beauty of nature, a passion that blossomed throughout her life. She found immense joy in feeding the hummingbirds that visited her garden and reveled in the serenity of being outdoors among the flowers she adored. Baptized at White Sulphur Baptist Church as a child, her faith was a cornerstone of her existence.
Patti was known for her infectious laughter and her readiness to embrace a good time. Those who knew her will remember her as a loving soul, whose presence brightened every room and whose humor brought smiles to countless faces. Her legacy of love and laughter will resonate with all who were blessed to know her.
Patti’s spirit is carried on by her devoted husband of 18 years, Glenn Welch of Cadiz, her loving mother, Mary Sheridan of Princeton, and her cherished sisters, Lisa (Mickey) Bayer and Sonya (Billy Ray) Parrish, both of Princeton. Her memory will also be treasured by her step-daughters, Melissa Gibbs and Jessica McAlister, both of Alabama; step-son, Brian Welch of Hopkinsville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Sheridan, and her grandparents, Max and Melville Sheridan.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 25, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in Meeks Cemetery in Caldwell County.
