The Princeton Art Guild has announced the appointment of Joe Duncan as its new executive director.
According to Melissa Peek, the outgoing executive director, Duncan is a western Kentucky native and brings a decade of experience in the museum and arts field, encompassing exhibition development, community engagement, and nonprofit leadership.
Peek said Duncan envisions the Guild as a home for the community—a place where everyone, artist or not, can see themselves reflected and welcomed. She said he plans to focus his first year on strengthening partnerships, broadening opportunities for members and residents to engage with the arts, and ensuring the Guild’s historic home continues to serve as a living landmark for imagination and connection.
The Princeton Art Guild is a nonprofit arts organization committed to enriching the cultural life of Caldwell County through exhibitions, education, and community engagement. Located in a downtown historic building listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Guild serves as a cornerstone of creativity, welcoming artists and community members alike to celebrate and sustain the arts.
