A traffic stop in Princeton on Thursday led to the arrest of an Indiana man on multiple charges.
Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman reported 44-year-old Robert Barton of Wheatfield was stopped on South Seminary Street after his vehicle was observed with one headlight.
Upon further investigation, Barton was taken into custody and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, and a violation for one headlight and failure to provide insurance coverage. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
Deputies were assisted on the scene by the Princeton Police Department.
