Caldwell County High School held the 2025 graduation ceremony Friday night in the Community Activities Building on the high school campus.
There was a standing room only crowd to witness the over 130 seniors become official graduates of the local high school. The doors opened at 6:00 pm to a line of people waiting to enter the building that reached across the parking lot behind the gym. The seniors gathered in the school cafeteria to line up to enter the gym, but enjoyed one last time together, visiting and taking pictures as they waited. Cale Goodwin was talking with friends and gave his thoughts on the night.
Destiny Lesly and her friends were sitting around a table, and she shared her plans for after the night.
Jamie Bates was preparing for her first graduation as a member of the school board and expressed her feelings.
The ceremony began promptly at 7:00 pm with the high school band performing as the teachers and seniors entered the gym.
The Valedictorians and Salutatorian gave their speeches, and then Principal Daniel Kukahiko presented the candidates for graduation to Superintendent Jeremy Roach.
Then came the moment that everyone had been waiting for as Dr. Roach declared the candidates official graduates of Caldwell County High School.
