The Caldwell County FFA and Agriculture Program has always stressed hands-on experience, and recently, the ag teachers stepped out of the classrooms onto the school grounds to teach students some safety procedures and how to operate everyday equipment.
Advisors Magen Woods and Parker Jennings took time to individually show students how to operate a zero-turn lawnmower and garden tiller, as well as other hand tools. Jennings explained the day and why they felt it was important to teach these skills.
