A Princeton woman is facing multiple charges after police say she hit a parked car and drove away on Mechanic Street last week.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reports that around 3:30 p.m. Friday, officers were approached by a driver on Mechanic Street who stated that another vehicle had struck his car and then left the scene without stopping.

Police say officers located and stopped the vehicle in question, driven by 52-year-old Angela Wilson, in the 900 block of Varmint Trace. According to authorities, Wilson’s license was suspended, and she admitted to consuming alcohol along with her prescription medication before getting behind the wheel.

Following further investigation, officers determined that Wilson had side-swiped the parked vehicle on Mechanic Street and was under the influence of intoxicants at the time.

Wilson was taken into custody and charged with driving on a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and leaving the scene of an accident. She was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
