An Eddyville teen was taken to the hospital after a one-vehicle wreck in Lyon County last week.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White reports that an investigation determined 18-year-old Jessica Owen was driving north on Kentucky 295 when she lost control of her SUV, ran off the road, and went down an embankment, where the vehicle overturned around 8:30 last Monday night.
He says that Owen was taken to an area hospital by Lyon County EMS, and no other occupants in the vehicle were injured.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by both the Eddyville Fire Department and the Eddyville Police Department.
