Great news announced for area families! Lyon County Judge Executive Jamie Smith visited WPKY’s “Coffee Talk with Tess” Wednesday morning, to discuss a new major upgrade for Lee S. Jones Park playground, that will not just make it completely handicap accessible, and friendly, but built with kid safety and comfort in mind. Smith gave the details on the large grant that made a new upgraded play surface across the park possible. Plus, to top off the good news, Smith estimates the new upgraded surface could be ready to play on as soon as the end of July leaving plenty of time for families to use this summer!
