A man with ties to Caldwell County has taken on the role of general manager at the Kentucky Sports Factory in Madisonville.
General Manager Drew Harrington introduced himself to the Madisonville City Council Monday afternoon and shared his background.

click to download audioAt the Council meeting, Assistant General Manager T.J. Phaup gave a six-month update on the Sports Factory, stating their estimated economic impact exceeded $3 million in the first half of the year.
click to download audioThe state-of-the-art facility held its grand opening in March after a soft launch in January. The Sports Factory features six hardwood basketball courts convertible for volleyball or pickleball, an indoor turf soccer field, batting cages, concessions, a modern kitchen, party rooms, and office spaces.
