Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet have announced plans to block KY 91 in Caldwell County on Thursday to replace a cross drain.
The highway between KY 70 in Fredonia and KY 139 in Princeton will be closed to through traffic from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. while work is performed. The entire stretch between Bright Hill Road and East White Sulfur Road will be completely blocked off.
State transportation officials indicate there will be a marked detour in place, utilizing KY 70 and KY 139. They said drivers may also use U.S. 62 and U.S. 641 through Eddyville, but there will be no detour signs on this route.
This is a single-day closure.
