A visit to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office ended with an Eddyville woman facing her second DUI charge after driving herself to the courthouse last week.
Sheriff Brent White says 38-year-old Katharine Stacy arrived at the Sheriff’s Office shortly after 1:00 last Monday, and during their conversation, he suspected she was under the influence of alcohol.
He says that after Stacy finished her business, surveillance video confirmed she was the only person in her vehicle and had driven herself to the courthouse.
Sheriff White reports that Stacy was taken into custody after field sobriety tests and charged with DUI—Second Offense, with aggravating circumstances.. She was booked into the Crittenden County Detention Center.
