Caldwell County Animal Shelter Director Kevin Lane invites the community to an open house on Tuesday, October 28, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Caldwell Regional Career Center.
Lane says that for the past year, students at the Career Center have dedicated their time and talents to designing and building new stainless steel kennels for the shelter. He notes that students and staff will unveil and display the first completed kennel at the open house.
Lane says the shelter staff is not only excited about the new kennels but also proud to have played a small role in supporting these students’ vocational education. He adds that the students’ hard work and commitment are truly impressive, and they look forward to celebrating this accomplishment with the community.
