Caldwell County FFA Alumni Holds Meeting

The regular meeting of the Caldwell County High School FFA Alumni was held Monday evening in the agriculture classroom at the high school.

The meeting was called to order by Alumni President Heath Cummins with the members hearing reports on the local FFA activities and plans for upcoming events.

It was reported that sausage and sorghum sales will officially begin this week after a pre-sale at Black Patch that did very well. Upcoming events include the regional land judging contest to be held Thursday in Christian County, the regular FFA meeting on Friday, and participating in the Caldwell Medical Center Health Festival on Saturday.

Advisor Magen Woods announced that 14 local FFA members will be joining with over 70,000 other FFA members from across the Nation as they attend the National FFA Convention at the end of the month. She shared that in addition to the workshops, classes, and sessions with speakers, they will also be supporting fellow Kentucky FFA members as they represent the State in a National Office and National Contest.
