Yvette Hicks Clark, 53, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on May 2, 1972 in Caldwell County to her father, Don Thomas and her late mother, Mildred Marie Thomas. Yvette was a graduate of the Caldwell County High School Class of 1990, went on to study cosmetology in Paducah before fulfilling her dream of owning and operating Yvette Thomas Salon and Boutique in Louisville. A gifted artist at heart, Yvette had a deep love for crafting and especially enjoyed creating stained glass windows, where her creativity truly shone.
In addition to her biological father, Yvette is survived by her husband, Bill Clark of Louisville; three sons, Sebastian Hughes of Clay, Cody (Jasper) Hughes of Louisville, Austin (May) Hughes of Mufreesboro, TN; two sisters, Angelina Medina of Bowling Green, Renee Adams of Princeton; two brothers, Damon Hicks, Brian (Ranee) Hicks, both of Princeton; two grandchildren, Grayson Hughes, Henry Hughes, and one on the way.
In addition to her biological mother, Yvette was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Ed and Anna Frances Hicks.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, Kentucky, with Bro. Jesse Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
