Jannifer Ann McVay, age 48, of Caldwell County, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at her home.
Jannifer was born January 23, 1977, to the late John and Sandra Oldham Johnson. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with and caring for her family, especially her grand babies. She loved the scenery at Kentucky Lake, seeing the elk and bison and looking around for deer. Some of her greatest moments were spent driving around with her husband, taking in all of nature’s beauty.
She is survived by her husband, David Earl McVay of Caldwell County; three adored daughters, Jessica (Devan) Oliver, Jennifer (Dallas) Moore and Davia (Devin Ketchey) McVay all of Princeton; sisters, Sandra Johnson of Providence and Tracy (Danny) Waters of Providence; grandchildren, Davin Ketchey, Ryder Moore, Roselee Oliver, Elijah Ketchey and Chloe Oliver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nevaeh Moore.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday, November 7, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Grove Cemetery in Providence.
