Marvalyn Joy Kelly, age 79, of Eddyville, KY, formerly of Florida, passed away November 11, 2025, at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Marvalyn was born December 14, 1945, to the late Clifford Conrad and Celia Mae Braund Jensen. She loved keeping active and healthy, so she rode an impressive five miles a day on her bike and swam laps in the pool every day. She has moved 19 times in her lifetime and had the process down to a science. Marvalyn took an active role beside her minister husband, Dean. She enjoyed teaching bible studies, singing in the choir and just loving all the people she came into contact with.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Wade) Robbins of Eddyville; son, Courtland (Trudi) Kelly of Florida; brothers, Clifford (Jessie) Jensen of Florida, Dale (Karen) Jensen of Wisconsin, James (Betty) Jensen of Wisconsin and Lee (Sue) Jensen of Texas; several adored grandchildren; sister-in law, Bonnie (Jim) Arenson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Kelly.
There will be no services held at this time.
