Caldwell County Schools has announced that a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the high school’s Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program will be held this Wednesday morning.
Public Relations and Community Engagement Coordinator Lizzie Wynn says community members, families, and business partners are invited to attend and discover how the program is helping students prepare for success after graduation.
She notes the JAG program began at the start of the 2025–2026 school year and now supports 60 students at Caldwell County High School. Under the guidance of JAG Specialist Stephanie Chambliss, the program focuses on career readiness, leadership development, and forging connections between students and local employers.
Chambliss explained in a release that the JAG program at the high school offers students career readiness training, mentorship, and the resources they need to graduate and pursue meaningful work or further education. She added that JAG helps strengthen community ties and ensures each student receives the skills, support, and employer connections necessary to successfully transition from school to the workforce.
School officials describe Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) as a national nonprofit committed to helping students stay in school and build the academic, employability, and technical skills they need for success. With a strong track record, JAG serves students in schools nationwide, providing comprehensive support and guidance to those facing significant barriers to graduation and future employment.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium at Caldwell County High School. Wynn advises attendees to dress warmly, as the heat in the Fine Arts Auditorium is currently not working.
