A Princeton man was arrested after police say he failed to update his sex offender registration as required by law.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reports that officers encountered 30-year-old Terry Jewell at a residence near the 200 block of North Eagle shortly after 1:00 Saturday afternoon, noting that Jewell, who is on the sex offender registry, had previously been warned on November 18th to update his registration to remain in compliance.

On November 22, police reported that Jewell had not updated his registration.

He was taken into custody and charged with failure to comply with the sex offender registration, 2nd or greater offense. He was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
