United Way of the Coalfield Presents $10,000 Check to Legacy Center

The spirit of generosity was alive and well Tuesday morning as the United Way of the Coalfield delivered a welcome surge of support to the Legacy Center in Princeton.

Executive Director Ashley Alexander tells WPKY’s News Edge that the United Way of the Coalfield presented the Legacy Center with a $10,000 check.

click to download audioDr. Jay Parrent, who will become president of the United Way of the Coalfield Board of Directors in January, also attended the check presentation at the Legacy Center.

She explained the donation will support any needs the Legacy Center may have.

click to download audioLast week, the United Way of the Coalfield presented a $10,000 check to support the Caldwell County Schools Jobs for America’s Graduates program during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the high school’s Fine Arts Building.

The United Way of the Coalfield serves Caldwell, Hopkins, and Muhlenberg counties.
