Dr. Dan Talley Retires After 45 Years

For the past 45 years, when anyone locally thought about an eye doctor, their mind automatically went to Dr. Daniel Talley. The end of that era was recognized on Friday afternoon with a retirement reception held in the office he has practiced in for the last several years.

Dr. Talley is a well-known figure to the community, not only as a trusted doctor but an important contributor to many areas of the community. He and his wife, Jennifer, have raised their four children here, and they have been active in every aspect of their children’s lives, supporting them and representing our community in a very positive way.

Dr. Jennifer Martin Lane and her staff at the Eye Care Center hosted the reception, and she welcomed everyone and shared some thoughts and insight about Dr. Talley.
