After more than two decades of service, a longtime Caldwell County Fiscal Court member has decided not to seek another term.
Elbert Bennett, the District 1 representative, is now in his sixth term as magistrate. After more than 20 years of dedicated service, he believes it’s time to step aside and possibly explore new ways to contribute to the community.
