An Oak Grove teenager was arrested in Lyon County on a Tennessee warrant for murder after he failed to appear in court on Wednesday morning.

Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested a 16-year-old for being a fugitive from justice in connection with a Davidson County, Tennessee warrant charging him with first-degree murder premeditated/intentional, accessory after the fact, and four counts of attempted first-degree murder.

Nashville Police say on December 1st, 2024, the teenager got into an argument with five people in a vehicle, including 18-year-old Ashley Dominguez, and he fired shots into the vehicle, hitting Dominguez and two other women.

Dominguez later died at the hospital, and the teenager was arrested but bonded out and did not appear in court, but was located on Wednesday in Lyon County.

The shooting happened at an after-hours club on Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville.
