William Watson, 75, of Princeton

William Jeffery Watson, age 75 of Princeton, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah.

Born on July 23, 1950, he was raised in Caldwell County, where he later graduated from high school. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a retired stocker for Walmart Super Center here in Princeton. Jeffery was an avid fan of UK men’s basketball, the Chicago Cubs, and enjoyed watching Pro-wresting. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle.

William Jeffery Watson is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Frances Yvonne Watson of Princeton, one son, Jeffery Paul “J.P.” Watson of Princeton; two sisters, Jill (Kenneth) Phelps of Princeton and Jan (Jim) Conley of Paducah; nieces, Kendra (Jeff) Hendrix of Owensboro and Tara (Rick) Turner of Paducah; nephew Brian (Jerran) Phelps of Princeton; great nieces and nephews, Matthew Hendrix, Jay-Lynn Mullen, Anna Morgan Hendrix, Asher Hendrix, Mitchell Phelps and Drew Hendrix and Uncle Bill Coursey of Fredonia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil E. Watson and Sue Brown Watson, and niece Allison Kate Conley.

Visitation for William Jeffery Watson will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

Funeral Services for William Jeffery Watson will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. John Hagen and Bro. Mike Franklin officiating.

Burial to follow in Morse Cemetery in Caldwell County.
