Dana Burke, 62, of Princeton

Dana C. Burke, 62, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

He was born on March 21, 1963, in Princeton, to his late parents, Edward and Dora Lee Copeland Burke. Dana spent most of his working life in restaurants, including Druthers, Heaton’s BBQ, and Dairy Queen, before later serving as a groundskeeper at John Hancock Farms. He had a special love for children, enjoyed fishing, and was known for sitting on his corner where friends and neighbors would always stop to visit. The family would also like to recognize two of Dana’s longtime special friends, Lance and Billy Riley, for their friendship and care through the years.

Dana is survived by his two step-daughters, Rebecca Morgan of Princeton and Tykisha White of Madisonville; two sisters, Celeste Dawn Boyd of Princeton and Cheryl Anita Burkes of Princeton; three brothers, Ricki Copeland of Evansville, James Cedric Burke of Bowling Green, and Corrie Edwards Burke of Princeton; several grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorrie Burke.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Copeland officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, January 24, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
