An Eddyville woman has been served a warrant at the Caldwell County Jail charging her with drug possession following an investigation that began last month.
According to Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison, officers served a Caldwell County arrest warrant at the local jail just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, charging Nicole Mayfield with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense (methamphetamine).
Police say the charge stems from Mayfield’s arrest on December 8th at the Probation and Parole Office, where officers found her with a pipe with possible meth in it during the execution of a warrant. Police say the pipe was sent to the Kentucky State Police forensic lab for testing, and the substance was confirmed to be meth.
