Lana Jane Barrett, age 60, of Princeton, passed away January 25, 2026, at her home.
She was born September 7, 1965, to the late Gordon Allen and Barbara Jean Sheerin Ziegler. Lana Jane Barrett was a woman of strong opinions and a fiery spirit, never afraid to speak her mind or stand her ground. A devoted homemaker, she took pride in caring for her home and those she loved. Lana found joy in fishing and being outdoors.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael Lee Barrett of Princeton; daughter, Georgia Jane Connor of Michigan; sons, Jayson James Challender of Martin, TN, Bert Lee Challender of Michigan; step-son, Michael William Barrett of Arkansas; sisters, Kim Ritchie of Canada, Kay Armstrong of Virginia, Jeannie Baker of Tennessee; brother, Ray Heathcock of Michigan; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Boone officiating. Burial will take place in Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Arkansas, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
