Russell Lee Pierpont, affectionately known as “Russ”, age 52, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away February 10, 2026, at his home.
He was born March 22, 197,3 to the late Thomas Crane Pierpont and Marilyn Prow Pierpont.
Russell was passionate about everything that he did in his life. He had an immense love for rock music, playing guitar and jammin’ out with friends. He often expressed his thoughts and feelings through his love of poetry. He had a profound interest in art, often creating intricate designs. He used his humor to persevere, even through the most challenging times. He had the unique ability to make everyone in a room laugh; his presence will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by two daughters, Jaiden Pierpont of Hanson, Kentucky; Isabella Blake Hansen of Salt Lake City, Utah; one brother, Donald Scott Pierpont of Heyburn, Idaho; one sister, Kay Lynn Pierpont Johnson of Payson, Utah; three nephews, Edward Scott, Jousha Pierpont and Daniel Pierpont; three nieces, Ginger Belone, Pepper Scott and Christina Pierpont Frazier; three grandchildren; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held in his honor at a later date.
