Shots-Fired Call Leads to Eddyville Man’s Arrest on Drug, Gun Charges

An Eddyville man was arrested on drug trafficking and other charges after a shots-fired call led police to search a Friendship Road home Friday.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and state troopers responded to the shots-fired call at a home in the 1000 block of Friendship Road around 4:40 p.m. Friday.

During the investigation, authorities obtained a search warrant for the property and reportedly found methamphetamine, two handguns, marijuana, pills, and drug paraphernalia.

65-year-old Earl Molloy, III was taken into custody and charged with two counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, meth trafficking, and possession of opiates, hydrocodone, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Molloy was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
