
As spring cleaning fever sweeps through Princeton, WPKY’s News Edge wants to remind you that Public Works is gearing up for the city’s annual spring drop off, starting Thursday.
The drop-off dates are Thursday and Friday, March 12th and 13th, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., as well as Saturday, March 14th, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will continue next week on Thursday and Friday, March 19th and 20th, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 21st, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The drop off location is at the county Recycling Center, located at 400 Eagon Street. Residents must provide verification of a city address, such as a driver’s license or utility bill.
Each household is allowed to drop off materials equal to one standard pickup truck load. Items not accepted include limbs or yard waste, appliances, air conditioners, tires, batteries, other items regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency, and regular weekly household trash.
