D-NOW Weekend Called a Success

The D-NOW weekend was held over the past weekend in local churches and has been called a huge success by both the students and adult workers involved in the program. D-NOW is a Christ centered time for students in grades 6-12 to gather in different church buildings to hold worship services, encourage fellowship and support for fellow young Christians and grow in their committment and relationship with God. They then go with their individual church groups to homes provided by their church to continue to share and spend the night before returning to the group setting for more activities. The event is sponsored by multiple church youth groups and coordinated by Southside Youth Pastor Josh Drake who began this annual program after beginning his service at Southside.

Drake tells about the event and the theme for this year.
