A Madisonville man has been arrested after a report of stolen items from a business in Caldwell County.
Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman reports that a local business reported on Friday that an employee had taken display tools and sold them to a pawn shop.
He says deputies followed up on the report, recovered the stolen items, and returned them to the owner.
On Saturday, authorities arrested 37-year-old Charles Crews on a Caldwell District Court warrant related to the case. He was booked into the Caldwell County Jail on a charge of theft by unlawful taking.
