Caldwell County Schools has announced the return of its summer feeding program for students and children throughout the county.
According to Public Relations & Community Engagement Coordinator Lizzie Wynn, the program will kick off on Tuesday, June 2, and run every Tuesday through July 28. Meals can be picked up between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at Caldwell County Elementary School.
She says Caldwell County Schools first launched the summer feeding initiative last year through the Summer Nutrition Program for Kids, helping ensure children in the community have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months.
Wynn says additional details, including sign-up information, will be shared at a later date.
