Caldwell County Schools has a new Director of Technology. Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach announced on Tuesday that Terry Sullivan will step into the role, bringing more than 20 years of experience in education leadership.
According to information from the school district, Sullivan’s most recent position was superintendent of the Fulton Independent School District. His background also includes work as project director at the West Kentucky Educational Cooperative, where he led grant initiatives like GEAR UP and Connect. He began his career as a technology instructor and later served as principal at the Fulton County Area Technology Center, now the Four Rivers Career Academy.
With over two decades of leadership experience in education, school officials say Sullivan has managed multi-million dollar capital improvements, improved school safety processes, and broadened student opportunities in STEM and dual-credit courses.
In a written statement, Sullivan says he’s “eager to bring a fresh perspective to the technology department, focusing on empowering teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience through innovative digital tools.”
