CCHS Students Chosen for Prestigious Summer Programs

Twelve high-achieving students from Caldwell County High School are preparing to trade part of their summer vacation for a prestigious academic experience. The district announced the selections for this year’s Governor’s programs on Wednesday.

According to information from Public Relations and Community Engagement Coordinator Lizzie Wynn, five students were selected for the Governor’s Scholars Program, or GSP. They are Lukas Harper, Reagann Morris, Madeline Thomas, Allison White, and Zari Wilson.

Representing the school district at the Governor’s School for the Arts is Addison Robinson.

According to Wynn, seven students will attend the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs, focusing on business and innovation. Those students are Chloe Adamson, Marley Chambliss, Landon Cunningham, Makenzie French, Bryleigh Jordan, Reagann Morris, and Alex Noffsinger.
