A local woman is behind bars following a traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon in Princeton.

According to Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison, officers stopped 53-year-old Erika Angle of Princeton on South McNary Street shortly before 4 p.m. for having expired registration plates.

During the stop, officers discovered Angle was driving without a license and had an active indictment warrant out of Calloway County.

Police cited Angle for the expired plates, driving without a license, and having an obstructed windshield. However, she was taken into custody on the outstanding warrant on charges of first-degree possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
