A longtime leader of Farmers Bank and Trust Company was honored this week for his three decades of service.
Bank leaders say Joe Falder was recognized for his tenure on the bank’s Board of Directors, a position he has held since 1991. During the ceremony, bank officials credited Falder with providing a steady hand and a “trusted voice” during more than 30 years of growth for the institution.
Aside from his work in the boardroom, Falder is well-known in the local business community as a leader at Falder’s Inc. of Princeton.
In a humble address to the room, officials said Falder dedicated his years of service to his wife, noting the importance of family and community values.
A spokesperson for the bank said that for an institution with over 125 years of history, it is the dedication of leaders like Falder who truly make a difference in local banking.
