The William Prince Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution held a special 250th Anniversary Celebration Memorial Bench Dedication on Saturday morning. The ceremony was held on the front lawn of the Caldwell County Courthouse with a good attendance of residents.
Chapter President Robert Ward served as the Master of Ceremonies and welcomed everyone to the program.

click to download audioWard recognized the donors who made this bench possible for their contributions. After a time of silent reflection, Ray offered the benediction. Ward then dismissed the ceremony and allowed those in attendence time to visit and examine the newly unveiled bench. The public is encouraged to stop by and visit the bench and the surrounding area.
