KSP Arrests Princeton Man on Charges Related to Child Sexual Exploitation

A Princeton man has been arrested on charges related to child sexual exploitation following an investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
According to KSP Post 2 Public Information Officer Rob Austin, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 24-year-old Stephen Crocker on Tuesday following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. Trooper Austin says the KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect was allegedly communicating with a juvenile online and had distributed matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
He adds that the investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Princeton on Tuesday. Equipment used to allegedly facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. Trooper Austin notes that the investigation is ongoing.
Crocker is currently charged with thirteen counts of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor 1st offense and one count of prohibited use of electronic means to procure a minor. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.
Crocker was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
