The Caldwell County School District is under investigation by the Kentucky Office of Education Accountability.
WPSD Paducah reports that the OEA were in Caldwell County on Friday. Their report indicates that Superintendent Nate Huggins confirmed that the OEA is investigating the validity of a complaint made to their office.
OEA Investigation Division Manager Bryan Jones also confirmed to WPSD that there is an open investigation within the district, but released no more details.
The News Edge has reached out to Superintendent Huggins but has yet to receive a comment.
The Kentucky Office of Education Accountability investigates allegations of wrongdoing of any person or agency at the state, regional, or school district level.
