Memorial services will be held at a later date for Vernon Neal Gardner, age 61, of Eddyville, formerly of Princeton.
Vernon was a veteran of US Army, retiring after 23 years, a member of Cross Roads Christian Church and a fork lift operator for Ameriqual Foods, a packaging plant in Evansville. He loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife: Pamela Sue Sanders Gardner; daughter: Katherine Marie Gardner and fiancé, Robert Hunt, of Eddyville; two sons: Neal Gardner and wife, Stephanie, of Dawson Springs and Scott Gardner of Eddyville; step-son: Steven Hatfield and wife, Denise, of Evansville and 7 grandchildren.
